As an inspiration, I took the really existing Aniva lighthouse in Russia. The lighthouse on Cape Aniva was built in the 1930s by Japanese engineers. One of its main features is that it had a small nuclear reactor inside, which was able to provide autonomous energy for more than 30 years. The last lighthouse keeper left it in 2010, and it was abandoned completely. The lighthouse almost has not been maintained since its construction, and due to strong sea winds and frequent storms, the structure was severely damaged. Most likely, in the next 10 years it will collapse, the remains will be absorbed by the sea and only these photos will remain from it. |
