Academy 13264 Tiger I Early Version (9./SS-Panzer-Regiment 3 (Totenkopf) Tiger 911)

Мои пожелания к модели: фары Bosch, однокамерные фильтры Файфеля, а также Академия, подсунувшая раннюю маску орудия, привели к выбору нижеуказанного прототипа:

Tiger 911 из 9/SS-Panzer-Regiment 3 Totenkopf.

Доработки: 

Доработан переходник для иннерционного стартёра двигателя и сделано крепление (тянутый литник).

Рассверлены сливные отверстия в командирской башенке.

Поздние гусеницы заменены на ранние: наборные пластиковые (RMF).

Сделаны крепление запасных траков на башне и рым перед забашенным ящиком.

Добавлены стопорная скоба люка и штыри под зонтик на командирскую башню, а также ограничитель хода люка заряжающего.

Заменены ведущие колеса (Dragon).

Установлены надмоторные сетки (Eduard).

Установлены замки - крепление шанцевого инструмента (Griffon и Eduard) - и барашки (Bronco).

Добавлен отсутствующий в наборе спаренный пулемет (RB MODEL).

Зашпаклёван перископ мехвода.

Переставлена смотровая щель наводчика.

Разрезаны боковые крылья.

Добавлены сварные швы и проводка к фарам (тянутый литник).

Установлен конвойный фонарь.

Особенности набора Academy 13264 Tiger I 'Early' Version: 

симметричная башня; поздние траки с шевронами-грунтозацепами; поздняя укладка троса натяжения гусениц; отсутствие конвойного фонаря, рыма перед перед забашенным ящиком и спаренного пулемета (последний вынут вместе с интерьером); неправильная форма ведущего колеса-звездочки (зубцы вровень с болтами и спицами); неверная форма переходника под стартер и отсутствие крепления; неправильно расположена смотровая щель наводчика; неусиленная маска орудия, фигурки экипажа.

9/SS-Panzer-Regiment 3 Totenkopf Tiger 911 

It was delivered with the May arrivals. Looking at data in DW to Tiger I and Tigers In Combat II the Fgst sent to 9/SS at that time were completed in April 1943; some had differing features, but the features that I can see are; 


Flat mantlet with a coaxial MG (I think that this is a Porsche-style, mantlet with a cut-out on the bottom drivers-side corner) 
Early tracks 
Standard early-mid tow hull extensions 
Two hull-mounted Bosch lights 
Smoke launcher assemblies were cut off by unit (Fgst 250212 arrived with them, but none of the Tigers deployed by the unit had then; they must have been deleted in the Werkstätte) 
Toggle bolts on the Kegelblende 
No KFF2 vision ports for the driver (standard early-style) 
Standard early-late front mudguards 
Standard early-late side fenders 
Standard early configuration track cable 
S-mine launchers 
Shovel mounts on the glacis plate 
Spare tracks on turret sides; front left spare not deployed 
Early-style sprocket hub; does not look convex-rounded, more like the Initial-style; bolts non-aligned with sprocket arms (which themselves are not aligned with the external sprocket teeth bolts) 
Absence of loaders periscope (looking at the pictures I can source there is no evidence of this periscope that I can see) 
Three track links brackets on the right side of the turret (seen in the Werkstätte photograph, but rearmost bracket seems blurred I am sure I is present in that picture) suggesting a pre-May build (so one assumes an earlier engine, hence earlier crank starter plate) 
Front road-wheel deployed 
Later-style Feifel chambers with a single upper chamber (as with all of these later deliveries) 
In one photograph the barrel looks particularly dark in comparison to the camouflage; would it be Panzer grey lacquer? (NB 6 white kill rings on the barrel)
